Archaelogy Museum

The Archaelogy Museum, being devoted to a collection of cultural and historical objects , is located on the northern side of the second historical objects , is located on the northern side of the second courtyard in Falak –ol-Aflak Fortress. The pieces exhibited in the museum are mainly made of stone , baked clay , and metal . In this complex which comprises three connected saloons , various objects related to pre-history, historical , and Islamic eras are displayed .

The unique silver objects of Kalmakarreh Cave , variety of Lorestan bronzes , and the coins belonging to different historical eras are amony the valuable characteristics of this museum . It also houses the figured stone objects shown in the pre-history and historical objects saloon , having been excavated at Sorkhdom-e Laki in Kouhdast . The most ancient objects exhibited in the museum date back to 30-40 thousand years ago , and the most recent ones belonging to two thousand years ago .
